Melissa Gorga Claims She’s the Only ‘RHONJ’ Actress Not on Ozempic

Melissa Gorga is focusing on her fitness routine.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star claimed she was “the only one in the cast who didn’t take Ozempic” during an appearance on Wednesday’s episode of “Sherri.”

“I train really, really hard. To each their own for everything, but no, I’m not taking it,” Gorga told host Sherri Shepherd.

The reality star, who appeared alongside husband Joe Gorga, added that she was “happy” that her co-stars taking the weight loss drug “feel great” and “look great”.

The discussion came after Shepherd, 57, recalled Dolores Catania and Margaret Josephs saying “most of the actors” had used type 2 diabetes medication to lose weight.

“I don’t know why (people are staying silent about it) because there’s no shame in it,” Catania, 53, said during the May 2 episode.

“If a doctor gives it to you, if you do things right, if you become healthier by losing weight, that’s a lot of good things that come with it.”

She went on to say that she had reached her “high school weight” and had no plans to stop using Ozempic.

“I’m going to be honest because it’s true,” she added.

“After menopause, it is very difficult to lose weight,” commented Josephs, 57. “And then you’re ashamed if you’re heavy.”

Praising the drug, she continued: “It cuts out the food noise, my blood tests are great. … (Before Ozempic) I couldn’t do anything. It didn’t matter if I ate well and exercised, so I don’t know why there’s any shame in it if it’s helpful to people.

Although Catania and Josephs have been open about their weight loss journey, not everyone in the “RHONJ” cast agrees.

Last year, Danielle Cabral accused people who use Ozempic of taking it away from those who need it to manage their diabetes.

Jackie Goldschneider also claimed in a Page Six Instagram post last June that she never intended to take Ozempic.

Meanwhile, Teresa Giudice was called out by fans who thought she started taking Ozempic – but she never admitted it.

Several Bravolebrities, in addition to Josephs and Catania, have spoken openly about their use of Ozempic and similar weight loss drugs.

“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Emily Simpson, “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Heather Gay and new “RHONJ” cast member Jennifer Fessler have all confirmed they used the drug to help them losing weight.
