A source close to Mel tells TMZ … He is in Rome for the pre -production of “Resurrection of the Christ” – which is the follow -up of his 2004 biblical epic, “the passion of Christ”.
As we pointed out … Mel was recently in the news when a straw survey showed that he was a popular candidate to introduce himself to the Governor of California … but a source close to the actor told us that he Not interested in politics – Although it is flattered by the results.
