Mel B gushes over 5-year relationship with Christine Crokos
Mel B has opened up about her five-year relationship with a woman, saying she “will always be open when it comes to her sexuality.”
The “Wannabe” singer, who just reunited with the Spice Girls at Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party, dated Christine Crokos early on and has a good relationship with the director.
“I fell in love with a woman and stayed with her for five years. We still talk about it today,” she told Attitude magazine on Monday.
“I don’t want to put a label on it, but I always thought women were beautiful.”
Mel, 48, said she always felt like she was part of the LGBTQIA+ community, but never felt pressured to be clear about her sexuality.
“I didn’t start my sexual journey saying, ‘I’m this, I’m that, I’m bisexual,'” she explained.
Mel got engaged to hairstylist Rory McPhee in 2022 and told The Sun she felt “more confident than ever” in her skin after escaping her allegedly abusive marriage to Stephen Belafonte.

The former “America’s Got Talent” judge — who was married to Belafonte from 2007 to 2017 — also spoke candidly about the alleged emotional trauma she suffered during her relationship with the film’s producer.
“He said, ‘You look old.’ ‘You look fat.’ “My God, you’re ugly. » “Your arms are flabby,” she told the outlet.
“In a way, these comments are like rain. They seep into you, they erase your self-confidence, your self-esteem, and when you look in the mirror, you don’t see a strong, happy woman – you see the reflection of what you are told: ” fat “. , ugly, old… worthless.’”
Belafonte, 48, has denied the allegations of psychological abuse. The former couple share a daughter, Madison, 12.
