Meghan Markle made a spring style statement by hosting an art event with Prince Harry.
In new Instagram photos from the March 21 celebration honoring the Kinsey African American Art & History collection, the Duchess of Sussex sported a $3,790 Carolina Herrera cape covered in delicate floral embroidery.
She unbuttoned the tiered black outerwear during the outing at SoFi Stadium, revealing a black top and matching pants underneath.
Markle, 42, completed her look with black flats, keeping her hair down and loose around her face.
“The cape Meghan is wearing is beautiful!” one Instagram user gushed about the ensemble, while another added: “I love it when she wears @carolinaherrera.”
Harry, for his part, wore a black suit as the couple helped showcase “one of the most extensive collections of African American art, artifacts and documents.”
The former actress’ mother, Doria Ragland, was also there in a cream cardigan and posed for a photo with Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles.
The event included a “moderated conversation” about “the history and importance of black art and how diverse communities can work together to preserve this vital part of American history.”
The outing came amid conspiracy theories about the fate of the Sussexes’ sister-in-law Kate Middleton, with the Princess of Wales revealing her cancer diagnosis in a video the following day.
Markle and Harry, 39, who allegedly discovered the 42-year-old’s health problems on television, responded with a statement.
“We wish Kate and her family health and healing and hope they can do so privately and peacefully,” the duo said at the time.
Page Six confirmed that Markle and the former military pilot also contacted Middleton privately.
