While most pregnant women eat pints of Ben & Jerry ice cream and picks of pickles (or both, combined) up to their dates of maturity, the thirst of Meghan Markle when she was apparently pregnant A little different from the standard.
During the weekend, the Duchess of Sussex and her husband, Prince Harry, had a double evening with singer Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, in Vij’s, an Indian restaurant in Vancouver. And it was there that Markle shared her former desire for pregnancy that was not your stereotypical choice with the owner and chef, Vikram Vij.

“Meghan said that during her pregnancy, she had only eaten Indian food and I told her that it was the best thing for her,” shared Vij with Good morning!Adding that the Sussex “are incredible, extremely beautiful and very friendly”. Meghan and Harry have two children together – a son, Archie, 5, and a girl, Lilibet, 3 years old.
Markle and Harry are currently in Canada for the 2025 Invictus Games and have left the children at home. As for the reasons for which they did not bring Archie and Lilibet for the big event, the editor Royale Emily Nash offered her opinion during a conversation with the royal journalist Itv Lizzie Robinson on Good morning! Magazine A Royal Right podcast.

“Since children are able to live a much more private life than their cousins … for example, because their roles are different,” said Nash. “I don’t see why they would put them in this arena at this stage.”
Robinson added: “They have somehow kept incredibly private children. I know that we saw extracts in the Netflix docuseries, but really, the children have lived an incredibly private life.”

Markle had previously suggested that Achie and Lilibet would not be present at this year’s Invictus Games during an impromptu speech at the reception of the family and friends that took place before the opening ceremony. “It’s all my pleasure and my full honor to present my husband on the stage, the father of our very sweet and excited children who encourage you from California, Prince Harry, founder of the Invictus Games, the Duke of Sussex”, she said.
