Meghan Markle supports teenage girls struggling following the deadly Los Angeles fires.
On Monday, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, dropped off donations and volunteered at a relief center in Altadena, Calif., run by Altadena Girls, a grassroots organization founded last week by an eighth-grade girl whose the school burned in the Eaton Fire. .
The young girl, Avery, mobilized locals to provide items, such as clothing, hair and beauty products, to her fellow teenagers who lost everything in the fires and are working to regain their confidence.
Meghan’s visit came to light after an eagle-eyed Sussexes spotted her in a video Altadena Girls posted on Instagram on Wednesday showing people making and organizing donations.
In part of the montage, Meghan is seen arriving outside the center with large bags overflowing with donations and speaking with someone who appears to be helping control the influx of items. The Duchess kept a low profile, wearing a black t-shirt, a camel-colored sweater tied around her shoulders and a black “LA” baseball cap.
“And thank you to everyone who came on Monday, which was such a special day! We love you!” the group captioned the video.
Meghan fans gushed in the comments.

A source told the Post that Meghan’s donations came from her and Prince Harry’s Archewell charitable foundation, named after their son, Prince Archie, 5.
The Los Angeles native arrived with new clothes and beauty products, the source shared, adding that she stayed there to volunteer her time and brought lunch to her fellow volunteers.
Meghan also helped teenage fire victims by reviewing donations, speaking with the young girls and providing overall support.
The mission of Altadena Girls, as defined by its founder Avery, is simple: to help young girls regain their self-esteem and confidence.
“While the donations to our community have been incredible, they are mostly food, water and household items – which are necessary, but not specific to the needs of my friends and classmates,” he said. -she wrote in an Instagram post launching the group.

This isn’t the first time Meghan has donated to victims of the Los Angeles wildfires. A source previously revealed to the Post that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex donated goods including children’s clothing and toys, some of which were their own personal items, to support disaster relief last week.
The couple also made financial contributions through their foundation to help with recovery efforts.
On Friday, Meghan and Harry were seen in Pasadena, California, as they volunteered, toured some of the areas burned by the fires and met with first responders as well as state and local officials.
