On some of his favorite things
While the series presents Meghan’s love for accommodation, cooking, gardening and decoration, it also sheds light on some of her other interests.
For example, in an episode, she organizes a game evening for her friends.
“We have all started learning Mahjong together in recent months,” she said. “Mahjong started in China in the 1800s, and we play a version entitled American Mahjong. What I really liked in Mahjong, the game itself is really fun, but what was so great is the idea of learning something new with your friends together and then recognizing that the Mahjong becomes the context of the expansion of friendship.”
In another episode, her friend, founder of Tatcha Vicky Tsaisaid Meghan also likes pickleball while the duchess itself revealed some of her favorite music genres.
“I listen to a lot of sweet rock from the 70s and a lot of rock yacht and a lot of soul,” said Meghan in episode five, “then French dinner music.”
And with regard to food, she said that she had a “very, very great tolerance” for spices.
“Even at a young age, we didn’t have much, but we traveled,” she said. “My mother was a travel agent. We were just trying so many different flavors and different places. My mother would do okra, and the food of the soul has a lot of flavor and a lot of kicks. I want this, and I always revolve at this level of heat. So I do my family in my palace, but I love it.”
