Then, in February, during a live Q&A with fans, Ice Spice pointed out how a video of her was featured in the background of Latto’s video clip, and she took offense , according to The Shade Room.

“I’m in the back of your weak** excerpt. That’s why I was confused. So I was like, “Wait a second, is that me?” »… I said to myself: “That must be wrong. It’s AI. But assholes gotta be bold, so I was like, ‘Oh, we’re being bold today,'” Ice Spice told fans.

A few days later, Latto appeared to retaliate to Ice Spice’s lyrics by stopping by the rapper’s hometown of the Bronx and filming the “Sunday Service” music video, according to The Shade Room.

A few days later, Latto seemed to add fuel to the fire by releasing the cover art for “Sunday Service.” As The Shade Room previously reported, the graphic featured photos of female rappers such as Ice Spice, Lil’ Kim, Megan Thee Stallion, Sexyy Red and others with their eyes crossed out.

Finally, on February 9, Latto returned to social media to clarify the meaning of the song and whether it was intended to discredit Ice Spice and her fellow emcees.
