Rachael Blackmore made a name for himself as one of the exceptional jockeys of his generation after having become the first jockey woman to win the Grand National in 186 years of history in 2021.
She cemented her name in the history of horse racing by repeating the feat at the Cheltenham Gold Cup in 2022.
Meanwhile, his boyfriend, Brian Hayes, will seek to add to the eight victories that he has won in the past year.
It is lucky for Rachael that she can compete in the Grand National, since she suffered a bad fall in the juvenile obstacle of grade 1 in Aintree on Thursday.
While the horse she was riding, Willy de Houelle, died following the incident, Blackmore escaped without any serious injury and will be able to participate.
It will see her again under the spotlight this weekend while she will compete with her boyfriend Jockey in Aintree.

Blackmore and Hayes are rarely seen together in public far from a racetrack but were spotted together in Wimbledon last July
Blackmore is the one who had horse races at the center of her existence from an early age, when she developed a love for horses while growing up in a dairy farm in Killenaule, in the county of Tipperary.
After starting to set up ponies at the age of two, she would appear during pony club and pony race racing meetings.
Her passion for horses has also extended to academics, because she graduated from the University of Limerick with a diploma in equine science while rivaling as an amateur jockey.
On Saturday, Blackmore, 35, will lead Minella Indo, while Hayes, 36, will be desperately for the victory himself as he hopes to direct Grangeclare West in Glory.
Given the attention she and her husband attract their common career, it is understandable that they keep their relationship largely hidden in the eyes of the public.
She revealed in 2021 that she shared a house with Hayes and Patrick Mullins – who will drive Nick Rockett to the Grand National of this year.
They live in the picturesque city of the Irish countryside of Leighlinbridge, located in the County of Carlow at around 65 miles southwest of Dublin.
Sharing what life looked like in an episode of the Podcast Raughs of Your Life of Doiann Garrihy, she said: “ I live with two other jockeys, Patrick Mullins and Brian Hayes. I go out with Brian Hayes, so there are three of us here.

Star Jockey has added that she, Hayes and Mullins refrain from talking about the races when they are at home together, noting: “ We are not talking about half as much as people might think.
“It’s just a normal house when we get home.
