Who is Kimi Antonelli?
Surprisingly, Antonelli only successfully completed his driving test. Earlier in the 2025 season, he became the youngest pilot to carry out a race while he was breaking a record held by the 2016 world quadruple world champion in Japan.
Antonelli was born in Bologna in 2006 and joined Mercedes’ junior program in 2019. He methodically climbed into the ranks of motorsport when he turned his head in 2022 by dominating both Italian circuits and Adac Formula 4.
After a strong performance in the regional formula, Antonelli passed the daring formula 3 which highlighted Mercedes’ confidence in its exceptional potential.
He joined Mercedes while the seven times Lewis Hamilton champion left for Ferrari.
