Media Finds Hunter Biden’s ‘Love Child’ Is Actually New

In the July 2 New York Times Sunday newspaper, they suddenly decided to put the story of Hunter Biden’s controversial 4-year-old daughter at the bottom of the front page.

The bizarre title of an article by Katie Rogers: “Hunter Biden and the politics of fatherhood in the media glare”. There was almost no media glare, at least inside the Democratic media bubble. They lament the “omnipresence” of the story in the conservative media.

The occasion for this sudden acknowledgment of reality was a child support settlement after a “year-long court battle” – apart from the media glare. Try to find any mention of mother, Lunden Roberts, or child, Navy Joan Roberts, in any “mainstream” media source.

Searching the Times website for “Lunden Roberts” gives you three results, two of which are for articles published in the past few days. The name “Lunden Roberts” only appears six paragraphs in the article, and only five paragraphs appeared on the front page.

Roberts waived his request that his granddaughter Navy Joan bear the Biden surname, and the Biden camp agreed to turn over a number of artworks from Hunter’s “second career as a painter whose pieces were offered up to $500,000 each.” This verbiage, apparently, is meant to signal Biden’s generosity, not Biden’s corruption.

The Times lamented that it was too political: “Hunter Biden, the privileged and troubled son of a president, and Ms. Roberts, the daughter of a rural arms manufacturer, have allies whose actions have made the situation more difficult. politicized. evidence that the White House is involved in these actions.”

It’s more than ridiculous to assume the Bidens aren’t involved in Hunter’s mess politics. But of course, “Democratic groups dedicated to helping the Biden family have released information about Mr. (Garrett) Ziegler and the Roberts family, seeking to highlight their ties to Trump.”

Liberal journalists should recognize that it’s only natural that people wronged by the Bidens would be welcomed by conservative media, just as Trump haters (like angry niece Mary Trump) would be celebrated by liberal media.

This line about President Joe Biden was the worst: “His public image centers on his devotion to his family — including Hunter, his only surviving son. In strategy meetings in recent years, aides have been told that the Bidens had six, not seven, grandchildren, according to two people familiar with the discussions.”

So there is “no evidence” that this is being politicized, but the “devoted” grandfather’s team will deny the existence of a seventh grandchild. It’s cold.

The Times also aggressively downplayed the “child-loving stripper” tones. Rogers reported that Roberts “moved to Washington to study forensic investigation at George Washington University” and “(a) along the way she met the son of a future president who was slipping into addiction and visited strip clubs in Washington”.

Liberal journalists should recognize that it’s only natural that people wronged by the Bidens would be welcomed by conservative media, just as Trump haters (like angry niece Mary Trump) would be celebrated by liberal media.

Rogers cited former GOP strategist Stuart Stevens to represent reporters’ view so far that focusing on the dissolute son is “just anger looking for an argument.”

Then she turned to pollster Frank Luntz to argue that it’s a “waste of time” for Republicans to focus on Biden family scandals instead of issues like inflation. Liberals want to protect Joe Biden’s image as a “devoted family man,” however false, insisting Republicans shouldn’t try to focus on the glaringly obvious.

The Biden Family is a sprawling reality show about misbehavior, like the Kennedys. And just like the Kennedys, newspapers that claim to be audacious guardians of the “truth” are exposed as hardened partisan agents.
