McTominay and Maguire start as Ten Hag pursue more cup success

Carabao Cup champions Manchester United will be eager to continue their FA Cup run when they host Fulham in the quarter-finals today.

United claimed glory in the first domestic cup of the season last month and Erik ten Hag would love another.

The Red Devils beat West Ham in the last round and will now face another Premier League rival.

Fulham beat Leeds in the fifth round and can go all out in the cup after enjoying a brilliant top-flight campaign.

But the Cottagers lost to United in November, losing 2-1 in west London after Alejandro Garnacho’s 90th winner.

Manchester United v Fulham: The facts of the game

• Manchester United have won all three of their FA Cup games by a score of 3-1 this season.
• No team has enjoyed more own goals this season than the Red Devils (2), with six of their other seven goals scored by South American players (Casemiro x2, Fred x2, Antony and Garnacho).
• Fulham beat Leeds 2-0 in the fifth round – they haven’t knocked out more than one Premier League side in a single FA Cup campaign since 2002-03, when they beat Birmingham and Charlton.
