A quick chicken war broke out on three fronts.
McDonald’s adds what he calls his first new permanent menu element in four years with the introduction of McCrispy strips. It will arrive on May 5, but a press release dated Thursday, April 24, from the fast food giant indicates that some users of applications could order them earlier and says: “You can even see them in some places today.”
McDonald’s describes the bands like white meat covered with crisp breading and “bursts with a new daring flavor of black pepper”. He will come with a new sauce with creamy chili.
The press release does not mention portions or prices.
The latest addition of permanent menu was the McCrispy chicken sandwich in 2021.
McDonald’s announced the same news on the same day, Taco Bell, based in Irvine, brought back his crisp chicken nuggets, which, according to them, were a successful success when they were briefly available in mid-December.
And Wienerschnitzel will present bird dogs on Monday, April 28, according to a press release from the Newport Beach channel.
Bird dogs come from South Carolina and are chicken offers served in a hot dog bun, the statement said.
Wienerschnitzel will serve three types: Bacon Ranch, Buffalo Ranch and BBQ.
The prices will vary but will start about $ 4 $ on the menu, according to the representatives. There will also be combos and chicken offers will be available individually.
