Fresh off a recent trip to Texas, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot spoke one-on-one with NBC 5 political reporter Mary Ann Ahern.
During that conversation, Lightfoot defended his recent decision to impose a new curfew on minors at Millennium Park following a fatal shooting in a public space on Saturday.

Lightfoot also discussed her upcoming re-election campaign, as well as her recent trip to Texas which prevented her from meeting President Joe Biden. She also broke the casino license approval process for Bally’s Corporation in the city:
