Max’s Original Series ‘The Penguin’ and ‘Dune: Prophecy’ Coming to HBO

Last month, Warner Bros. Discovery moved three of its highest-profile Max original films – Harry Potter, Lanterns And HE prequel Welcome to Derry – to become HBO originals.

The company is now continuing this development with the move of The Penguin And Dune: Prophecy.

When the decision was initially announced in June, the company said it was unsure whether The Penguin, which is scheduled to premiere in September, and Dune: Prophecy would be covered by the new branding, but this has now been clarified.

Farrell said in March, just after filming wrapped, that the series was “really dark,” “heavy” and “incredibly violent.”
