Max Verstappen avoided another penalty of the F1 stewards after the controversial incident of turn 1 involving Oscar Piastri at the Saudi Grand Prix.
Verstappen received a five -second penalty for leaving the track and gained an advantage at the opening chicane after feeling that Piastri forced him to go in the first round.
Verstappen crossed the runoff in the second corner after finding Piastri inside, the two pilots having made solid launches out of the line.
The commissioners were quickly judged that the reigning world champion had not been forced to leave the circuit, which led to the time penalty, which he served his only stop at the stand.
Piastri finally won the 2.8S race away from Verstappen, which currently has eight penalty points on its super license.
However, as no other action beyond the 5S penalty has been granted, the Dutchman still has eight on his license, 12 needing to trigger a ban.
The next series of Verstapppen points stands out after the Austrian GP in June.
