Max Caster has fully embraced his solo era since his separation from Anthony Bowens, and he kept relevant with a series of open challenges. But according to Fighfful Select, his match of the AEW dynasty will probably not end differently from the last seven.
“Max Caster’s opponent for his challenge open to the Dynasty Pay-Per-View has not yet been revealed,” said the report, before adding that he is “planned that the mystery opponent won the match”.
This would mark the eighth consecutive loss of Caster since the launch of the Open Challenge gadget in the January 29 episode of Aew Collision. Most of these matches were fast defeats, often does not even last a full minute. However, Caster does not back down.
In his usual exaggerated confidence, Caster said that he would hold “another open challenge” during the zero time pre-show of the AEW dynasty, insisting that he is still “the best life wrestler at the moment”.
While Caster’s defeat sequence has turned into a story, the construction added something strangely convincing to its new character. The fans came to expect surprise appearances and quick results – and that’s exactly what makes this zero hour segment that is worth watching.
With an AEW dynasty which descends to Philly, all the eyes are on which stands to close the launcher again – and if he finally touches the bottom or carrying out a shock victory.
