Cleveland (AP)-Evan Mobley scored 22 points and Cleveland established a franchise record with 91 in the first half when the horsemen clashed with a 144-101 victory on Dallas only a few hours after the Mavericks have exchanged the superstar Luka Doncic in Lakers for Anthony Davis.
Darius Garland added 17 points and 10 assists while the Cavs have improved the best record in the League at 40-9.
Sam Merrill made nine 3 points and Cleveland set a franchise record with 26 3s.
In the hope of going back to the final, the Mavericks treated Doncic, 25 years old, an All-Star five times and the face of their franchise in Los Angeles for Davis, one of the most talented bogirectional players of the league.
Davis will unite his forces with Dallas with the goalkeeper of the stars Kyrie Irving, who has a lot of experience by playing with other superstars after stays alongside LeBron James, Kevin Durant, James Harden and Doubleic.
Unfortunately, Irving was not available because of an injury and the Cavs have blonssed the Mavericks from the start. Cleveland scored a 50-point franchise record at the first quarter and opened a 45-point lead at halftime.
Their 91 points equal to the third best in first half in the history of the League.
Jaden Hardy punctuated Dallas with 21 points.
Take -out
Mavericks: Dallas had only 10 players in uniform while IRVING (shoulder), the striker PJ Washington Jr. (knee) and the Daniel Gafford (ankle), Dereck Lively II centers (ankle) and Dwight Powell (hip) were all seated in the injuries.
Cavaliers: an easy afternoon to settle for Tuesday evening’s match against Boston.
