The team announced that they had released Matt Gay on Thursday. Spencer Shrader, who signed with the team earlier this year, is the remaining botter in Indianapolis.
Gay has spent time in the Colts training team in 2020 before going to Rams and returned to the team for a four -year contract in 2023. He scored 64 out of 78 goals on the field and 68 additional points in the last two seasons.
This decision will erase $ 2.75 million in ceiling space for the colts, but there will remain $ 4 million in money for the 2025 season.
