A 2/3 Falls championship match was added to the premium live WWE Royal Rumble 2025 event on February 1.
Until today, the only confirmed games for the Royal Rumble event were themselves the male and female rumble matches, and the WWE undisputed scale match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens.
During Smackdown of January 24 of this evening, a championship match of the WWE team team was announced for the Rumble.
The match will see DIY defending the championship against the machine guns of Motor City, in a 2/3 Falls match.
DIY won the MCMG WWE TAG team championship on December 6, turning the heel in the process.
MCMG won victories against A-Town Down Under, Los Garza and quite fatal in three consecutive weeks on Smackdown, making them a revenge match.
