Third period: Young starts and escapes in less than 10 seconds. A long melee from head to toe ends with a withdrawal from Realbuto and an advance of 6-4. Realbuto ends the period for a 6-4 victory.

Second period: Plott starts and escapes after a jostling near the edge. Keckeisen hits a shot but Plott spreads and counterattacks out of the limits. Keckeisen succeeds in a throw on a choice in the ankle for a withdrawal. Plott rises but Keckeisen sends him back to the end of the time allocated. Keckeisen leads 6-2.
