Massachusetts toddler, 3, lights up after spotting his family in the audience while performing

A Massachusetts toddler has gone viral after having the best reaction to seeing his family members in the crowd at a recent holiday recital.

Chelsea Krow, 30, recently posted a video of her daughter Emmy, three, appearing on a holiday show where she is seen solemnly searching the crowd until pure joy sets in as she spots her family.

The proud mum told DailyMail.com it was a great show for Emmy at her very first recital; the toddler had her mom, dad, little sister Laurel, and “aunts and uncles” to watch her dance.

The viral video, which uses “Married Life” from the Disney-Pixar film “UP,” shows the youngster standing on a stage in a black leotard and red tutu surrounded by her fellow dancers searching until she finds her relatives encouraging him. .

Emmy, fiercely searching the crowd, finally finds her family members seconds into the video and immediately lights up with joy.

Chelsea told DailyMail.com that she and her husband signed their daughter up for the dance to help her ‘build confidence’, so that meant the whole world would see Emmy having that reaction.

The little girl appears to be wiping away tears after spotting her mum, dad and baby sister, seemingly so thrilled to have spotted her loved ones.

Chelsea also said it was a big moment for their daughter who “has been practicing her routine all month” and will only allow mum and dad to “listen to her dance routine song for the whole month”.

The video has since amassed 18 million views on TikTok after being posted less than a week ago.

More than three million users of the video-sharing app liked the video and 38,000 people commented.

When asked if fame had gone to Emmy’s head, Chelsea said Emmy’s friends at school told her “you’re famous, Emmy” and that she was especially thrilled to learn that Santa himself had commented on the video.

However, the viral moment almost didn’t happen, as the young girl got cold feet, necessitating a pep talk from dad.

The mum also said on the other side of the camera that there was a proud family who

“We were so thrilled she found us in the audience, she’s so lovely,” Chelsea told DailyMail.com.

“She has such a big heart that she has always worn on her sleeve. We were thrilled that she could see us in the crowd and knew we were all there to support her.

As to how exactly the three-year-old found her family in the crowd, Emmy said she had a distinct family member who caught her eye.

“Emmy said she could see Laurel waving to her on stage,” the mother said.

Seeing her little sister, just one year old, so excited to see her on stage made the young girl very emotional.

‘Emmy said she was so happy to see her sister she cried! We told her not all tears are sad tears and we were so proud of her,’ Chelsea said.

The owner said she puts on the annual recital for that exact reason, actually.

“Fourteen years later, this video surely captures it!” said Montemagni.

As for what Chelsea says she’ll take away from this moment, the mom said she took away an important lesson.

“I think that moment really highlighted the importance of showing up for the people we love. My family is so happy that this moment went ‘viral’ and inspired so much love and kindness around the world,” she told DailyMail.com.

“The thousands of loving comments touched our hearts. It was an amazing Christmas present.

Emmy’s reaction was also shared by country singer Walker Hayes in an Instagram post where he used his own song “Face In the Crowd” to show his own appreciation for the adorable viral video.

Her video received over 35,000 likes and hundreds of comments.

“That’s why you show up at everything when you have kids. Memories created,” one commenter wrote.

‘Yeah. I just left Grandson #3’s preschool Christmas program and we’re driving 4 hours to see Grandson #4’s Christmas ballet program tomorrow. It matters to them,” wrote another.
