(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department is currently on the scene of a mass shooting in which at least five people were shot.
On Monday around 8:18 p.m., officers said they responded to the area of Coral Gables Court and Meadowview Road in South Sacramento where several people, including a juvenile, were struck by gunfire. The victims were taken to hospital, but a heavy police presence remains on scene.
As of 10:30 p.m., SPD said the victims — three men, two women and a girl — are expected to survive. No arrests have been made.
