Browns fans wanted a wide receiver / half of Travis Hunter corner with the overall choice n ° 2. Hunter, as a double -way player, could be a generational talent.
The Browns, however, exchanged the choice for the Jaguars for a package of choices which includes a first round in 2026. The Jaguars selected the winner of the Heisman trophy, and the Browns took the defensive platform of the Michigan Mason Graham three choices later.
This decision did nothing to excite the Browns fans base.
Graham, however, said he would show them why he was an excellent choice.
“All the things on the social networks you see, I try not to pay attention to it, but everything happened,” Graham said in his introductory press conference on Friday. “May God bless me to be here, and that’s where I will play for my next years and I hope for longer. So I just have the impression that Cleveland gets one of the best players, otherwise the best player in the draft. I feel like I can do everything, and I can play anywhere.
