Mary Trump said she was tickled by one part in particular of her uncle’s ongoing secret trial.
And that’s when the former OGP president and presumptive nominee was forced — during jury selection last week — to sit back and listen to the derogatory comments that potential jurors had made about him on social networks.
“I can’t stop laughing,” the clinical psychologist and fierce critic of her four-times-indicted relative told SiriusXM host Dean Obeidallah.
” Just because Donald is so mean to others, it is so insulting and humiliating that there was a bit of schadenfreude when the judge read into the file some messages that the prospective jurors had posted on their social media pages,” he said. -she explains.
“You know, ‘Donald invited the Thai boys to the White House, but they decided they’d rather go back to the cave,'” Mary Trump continued. “And just pointing out how stupid he is and that he needs to stand there and accept it.”
Mary Trump suggested her uncle “probably feared” being held accountable for his actions for decades.
“So. Part of him was probably always terrified that this was going to happen, but also he probably never believed it because he always gets away with everything. And here we are. And believe me , he understands how serious it is,” she added.
Donald Trump faces 34 counts of falsifying business records to conceal money paid to porn actor Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election to keep quiet about their previous alleged affair.
The trial continues Monday.
