Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection Switch Physical will not require download

We have more good news for anyone planning to purchase a physical copy of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics for Switch later this year.

According to some retailers, Capcom will offer the entire collection on the game cartridge (or disc, if you’re purchasing the game for PlayStation), with no download required. It will therefore be fully playable upon its release! Keep in mind that there might still be at least a few patches and updates post-launch to address any bugs or issues.

This news follows confirmation last week that a physical release was definitely on its way to the Nintendo Switch. When it arrives, this collection will be loaded with seven titles, including hits like Marvel vs. Capcom 2: the new era of heroes as well as lots of additional content and features.

Capcom has released collections similar to this in the past, such as Capcom Fighting Collection and other titles like Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, with physical versions also being available for these games.
