The undefeated race continues. The championship chief Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo team) was designed for this in the second row, but in the end, the # 93 beat Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) at Tissot Sprint Glory a little more than a second. Pedro Acosta (Red Bull Ktm Factory Racing) bagged a third consecutive top after coming from row 3 to P3 in the court of KTM, while Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo team) supports a torrid Saturday afternoon.
Extrained lights: Bagnaia undergoes a disastrous beginning
Outside the line, it was an absolute disaster for Bagnaia and Fermin Aldeguer (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) because the two illuminated the rear tire, which costs the runners in P3 and P6 a colossal time. Alex Marquez, meanwhile, caught the sprint head in front of Marc Marquez, with Acosta who passed Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) for P2 at the start of the Tour 2 in the same place where on the first round, Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing) was forced to run wide. It saw the title champion falling at P15, a place behind Pecco.
Alex vs Marc for the victory
After the first laps, Alex Marquez kept Marc Marquez behind him a little less than half a second, Acosta losing contact after a small error on the turn 4. The # 37 was now 1.3 behind the duo Marquez, and had a decent stamp to a fourth place Bezzecchi in the fight for bronze.
Then a change at the front. The # 93 obtained an excellent race out of the Tour 2B and has made a move at turn 3 with five laps to do, so could # 73 do something in response? The answer with three laps to do was a company no. Marc Marquez increased its advantage to 0.7 s, but the red corner had a warning of track limits.
But, as expected, no error came from Marc Marquez when he extended his incredible winning race at 11 on the spin in 2025. Alex Marquez crossed the line in P2, 1.9 before Acosta, who kept Bezzecchi remotely.
Your markers
Brad Binder (Red Bull Ktm Factory Racing) gave KTM a double top five on home lawn, with Aldeguer, recovering a solid P6 after his disorderly departure. Enea Bastianini (Red Bull KTM Tech3), Fabio Di Giannnantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) and Johann Zarco (Castrol Honda LCR) collected the last points offered, with Martin with good to go back to P10.
Another victory in the bag and then for Marc Marquez. Can anyone prevent the leader in the Runaway title race from pocket a 12th consecutive victory on Sunday?
