Mark Zuckerberg and Lauren Sánchez bonded at the inauguration

Melania Trump may not have had much fun at Donald Trump’s second inauguration, but you know who did? Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta. He was lucky enough to be seated next to Jeff Bezos’ fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, and the two appeared to spend much of the ceremony whispering and laughing. I suppose for the broligarch contingent, enthusiasm about succumbing to President Trump and a shared love of megayachts is more than enough to form the basis of a friendship.

Zuckerberg also seemed to appreciate Sánchez’s sense of style, particularly the content of her lace bustier. (He seemed to double down on that feeling when he liked one of her Instagrams messages Tuesday,.) But don’t worry! His wife, Priscilla Chan-Zuckerberg, was also present. Later that evening, the couple posted a photo of their all-black ensembles to Instagram, captioning the image “Optimistic and celebrating 🇺🇸.” It must be nice.
