Fox News host Mark Levin criticized members of the mainstream media, the Democratic Party and academia on his radio show Thursday for their hypocrisy in condemning concerned parents at school board meetings as they were excusing the actual violence of the Black Lives Matter protesters last summer.
In “The Mark Levin Show,” the host commented on recent events at school board meetings for his local municipality in Loudon County, Virginia. One event included a man who was arrested at a school board meeting after alleging his daughter was assaulted by a transgender student.
Levin said Loudoun County was once reliably Republican, but local offices have swapped parties over the past decade as the former Dominion tended to be Democrat.
The “Life, Liberty & Levin” host added that as a young man he had run for and been elected to his hometown school board in Montgomery County, Pa. – and noted that the people he sees leading school boards these days were not common back then.
Levin has aired recent clips of political and media figures condemning parents in harsh terms, including an MSNBC guest who described them as “violent and angry vomiting.”
In another MSNBC clip, host Alicia Menendez said some of the parents’ actions “got scary at these meetings.”
Former FBI counter-intelligence official Frank Figliuzzi told Menendez the office is “tailor-made for this kind of coordination at the national level, which will be overwhelmed with overtime, information gathering … and it becomes a security crisis in a sense for the nation. “
MAJORITY OF PARENTS IN VIRGINIA WANT TO LEARN ABOUT THEIR CHILDREN’S EDUCATION, FOX NEWS SURVEY SAYS
Levin also played a clip of Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe telling a local affiliate that school boards are supposed to be the creator of the curriculum, not parents – while the MSNBC host , Stephanie Ruhle, expressed concern for the family life of the children of parents who speak out at school council meetings.
Concluding the edit, Levin called the media “propagandists.”
“[They’re] trashing parents – they have no evidence of any kind of abuse – we have a lot of it last summer with Black Lives Matter and Antifa – and most of those individuals stood up for Black Lives Matter and they still do today. hui, ”Levin said.
Princeton African-American studies professor Eddie Glaude Jr. told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that tensions at school board meetings were once “fringe elements,” but they have been “integrated”.
“In many ways, we are in a cold civil war. It was hot on January 6. It is hot in these local spaces,” Glaude said.
Levin called Glaude a “clown” and blasted MSNBC host Joe Scarborough for being indicative of the “outcasts and disbelievers” being offered a platform in the media.

Levin wondered if Glaude was on the same “great moralizing horse” when BLM rioted and looted American cities in 2020.
“He didn’t talk about it – arson, looting, ‘no, no, mostly peaceful, it’s the parents,'” he said. “I just want you parents to understand. The media, the Democratic Party, these tenured teachers, many of whom are Marxists – that’s the crap your kids are fed.”
