Marjorie Taylor Greene booed as Republicans turn on her for trying to oust President Johnson

They heckled her, shouted boos as she stood up to speak and some hissed at her — and those were voices from the same side of the aisle as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).

Greene attempted to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) from leadership on Wednesday, but Republicans overwhelmingly opposed her candidacy. And that effort proved to be the final straw for many of his Republican colleagues who expressed growing disgust at his antics during his three years in Congress. It even led to a rare rebuke from one of his most ardent supporters – former President Donald Trump.
