The Navy announced on Friday that they had selected the right -hander contract Casey Lawrence From Triple-A Tacoma. He had erased the exemptions after being appointed for assignment a week ago, briefly elected free agencies and returned to another minor league agreement. He is now back in the big leagues. Right TROY TAYLOR was optionized in Tacoma in its place.
This marks the last stop in a frequent match between Lawrence and the Mariners. Seattle initially claimed the derogations on the right in 2017, and although he sometimes rebounded in the league, he returned several times to the M, signing a quartet of transactions in the minor league and by tanning for them in part of three different seasons. Lawrence also spent the whole campaign in 2024 in the organization Mariners, although it was not raised a triple-a Tacoma at any time last season.
In 127 major league rounds between Blue Jays, Mariners and Cardinals, Lawrence launched an MPM of 6.73 with a 16.6% withdrawal rate and a walking rate of 8.5%. He also launched parts of 10 Triple-A seasons, working at an MPM of 4.32 in 733 images at the upper level of the minor league.
This could very well be another short stay for Lawrence, which seems to get a deep arm with the navies and set up the DFA carousel for the moment. He will give Seattle a fresh arm after a game of wild extraordinates and Va-Nord saw the navies burning through seven lifts en route to a victory on the Reds yesterday. Each of Andres Munoz,, Trent Thornton,, Gabe Speier And Carlos Vargas Now has launched consecutive days, so Lawrence is good at presenting herself in Toronto of this evening series.
