Captain of Crystal Palace Marc Guehi and midfielder Adam Wharton both missed the team’s celebration party after being taken to the hospital.
The central defender of England Guehi was replaced in the second half of the 1-0 victory of his team on Manchester City at Wembley after having taken a look while Palace obtained his first major trophy.
The 24 -year -old was able to direct his team on Wembley’s steps to raise the trophy after the final whistle and celebrate with his teammates on the field.
However, Guehi was then taken to the hospital in an ambulance after the match in the middle of the concerns he had undergone a fractured obstacle while the defender also complained of a slight loss of view.
It is understood that tests indicated that Guehi avoided a fracture but has undergone serious bruises – although it remains to be seen if he can play in the last first league games of the Palace.
Guehi should be available for England’s lighting against Andorra and Senegal on June 7 and 10.
He spent the night at the hospital before being released around midnight, which meant that he had to miss the celebration party of the team in Boxpark, a stone’s throw from Stade Wembley.
Guehi Wharton’s teammate in England also missed the team’s post-match party.
He was sent to the hospital for concussion checks after being hit at the back of the head by a fierce shot from Kevin de Bruyne.
And the midfielder posted a photo of him in a hospital dress on his Instagram account late Saturday evening.
