Marc Cucurella says that Chelsea will gladly give Liverpool their guard of honor on Sunday – but their show of respect will stop as soon as the first whistle.
While visitors to Stamford Bridge can now bask in the glory of being champions, the blues are desperate to strengthen their offer among the first five under Enzo Maresca.
Cucurella said: “They won the League. They deserve it. If we have to do it, we do it. It is before the match. Once the game is at the start, we opt for our goals.
“We will fight with everything and for the three points. I hope we can also have it in the coming years. This is what we are fighting for and what we are trying to do.
“It’s a good thing to have it (the guard of honor). I think if they ask me if we do it and win the game, we will all, easy. We have to do it because they won the league. Then when the game starts, we do our job.

The blues are now a club very different from what they were at the time, with a desperate property of bringing back the good days for supporters, but Cucurella thinks that they are built towards special times together.
“We train every day for this, for winning each match, for playing these important games, reaching the final, playing for a title,” he said. “This is our main goal and I think we are starting to build something important.”
By obtaining football in the Champions League, which Chelsea can do because they still have to face their Rivaux Newcastle and Nottingham Forest colleagues during the meeting, Cucurella added: “We know that the Premier League is very difficult. No game is easy. We have to fight. If in a game, you are not concentrated enough, you can lose. Now it’s in our hands and it’s very important to us.
Cucurella became a favorite of Fans of Chelsea after an initially difficult period, the supporters singing a song on him eating paella and drinking Estrella. However, the 26 -year -old Spaniard admitted that Lager was not his tip of choice.
“I don’t like Estrella!” I don’t like beer, I don’t like wine. I only like vodka! But I feel very proud because it is sure, when I joined here, it was difficult.
