Bhaker is the fourth Indian after Norman Pritchard (athletics), Sushil Kumar (wrestling) and PV Sindhu (badminton) to win multiple medals for India at the Summer Games.
But no Indian has won multiple medals in a single edition – until Bhaker at Paris 2024.
Bhaker and Sarabjot had qualified for the bronze medal match in the 10m air pistol mixed team by finishing third in the qualifications with a score of 580. Had they secured one more point, they could have made it to the gold medal match.
