Man’s probation revoked the deadly shooting during his Oakland birthday party

OAKLAND – A man was imprisoned for having allegedly dismissed a firearm during a shooting which became deadly during his 27th anniversary, according to the judicial archives.

Quazauy Wash, 27, was accused of having violated probation in a case of previous firearms, after the police identified him as an alleged shooter in the exchange of shots of March 4 who made William Robinson, 29, died. Waugh remains at Santa Rita prison in Dublin, and should be the next in court in three weeks, according to the files.

Wash celebrated his birthday on the 61st avenue in Oakland on the night of March 4, when a group approached another street and started shooting in the residence, the police announced. During the subsequent exchange of gunshots, Robinson was shot.

The police said Robinson had been seen in a basketball match in Berkeley High earlier in the evening before heading for 61st avenue where the party was taking place. No one has been accused of murder in his death, who remains under investigation.

But the authorities moved to violate Wash’s probation after examining the surveillance images of a Tesla parked nearby, according to the judicial archives. According to police, Waughtwhile was the description of a shooter, and that when they interviewed Wash, he said he had heard firing that night, but said he was too intoxicated at the time to have a clear memory of what happened, the authorities said.

Wash was accused of being a criminal in possession of a firearm in February 2024, resulting from a traffic stop at “high risk” in Fremont, police announced in the judicial archives. He then argued any competition with a firearm office for a two -year probation mandate.
