Manchester United are expected to announce the transfer of Jadon Sancho after Euro 2020, we learned.
The Red Devils tried to sign the England star last summer but failed to meet Borussia Dortmund’s asking price of £ 108million.
The two clubs are back in negotiations again and The Sun claim Man United have made personal terms with Sancho worth £ 350,000 a week over five years.
Dortmund want United to increase their offer from £ 61million to £ 78million, with an additional £ 10million, but that is likely to happen, the report adds.
The German club have reportedly given the Premier League side a July 23 deadline as that’s when they leave for their pre-season training camp.
Sancho admits his England teammates who play for Man United have spoken to him about a move to Old Trafford.
He said, “Of course all the boys have a lot of questions. When you do well, speculation will always come.
“I just say to the boys, ‘look, I’m focused on football right now’ and we’re just focusing on the Euro step by step.”
But in an interview with talkSPORT, Sancho insisted he was fully focused on this summer’s finals.
He said, “No, I’m cool about it. It’s just the way you handle it on the pitch, so just keep doing what you’re doing.
“If you keep doing this I’m sure it won’t be a problem because the main thing is my football and that’s what I’m focusing on right now.”
Man United have also been linked with Sancho’s club teammate Erling Haaland, who scored 57 goals in 59 appearances for Dortmund.
The Sun’s report says the club have spoken to Haaland and his representatives, but the Norwegian has made it clear that he is committed to a move to Real Madrid.
Chelsea and Manchester City have also been heavily linked with the 21-year-old hotshot.
