Manchester United investigate Cristiano Ronaldo for crashing fan’s phone

Manchester United lost 1-0 to Everton on Saturday, and Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t seem happy with the loss.

After the match, a video emerged showing Ronaldo snatching a fan’s phone from his hands as the team made their way to the locker room.

A Manchester United representative told ESPN they were investigating the incident and “pointed out” that the video was unclear as to whether it was an intentional move by Ronaldo.

The outcome of the game was relatively surprising.

Everton were +350 underdogs, meaning a $100 bet on them to win would have paid $350. With a record of eight wins, four draws and 18 defeats, Everton face relegation from the English Premier League this season.

This season, Ronaldo has 12 Premier League goals and six in the Champions League.
