It’s day three of the 2022 World Cup and by far there’s been the biggest shock.

Lionel Messi’s Argentina were beaten 2-1 by Saudi Arabia in the early kick-off as the 51st-ranked side in the world pulled off one of the biggest upsets in tournament history.

Denmark and Tunisia followed with a goalless draw, as did Mexico and Poland where Robert Lewandowski missed a penalty.

France then beat Australia 4-1 in the final game of the day.

However, the biggest news of all came when Manchester United announced that Cristiano Ronaldo would LEAVE the club by mutual consent.
