The striker has caught the attention of the Premier League
Crucially, it includes a release clause worth £51.5million, which could be of interest to a number of Premier League clubs.
Nkunku enjoyed a wonderful campaign last season, scoring 20 goals and providing another 13 for his teammates.
As a result, Manchester United and Chelsea were strongly linked with a move for the player but, having signed a new contract, it looks like they will have to wait before making the move.
Speaking to the club’s official website after signing a new contract, Nkunku said: “I’m delighted to continue wearing the RB Leipzig shirt.
“After our great achievement in winning the DFB-Pokal, it is clear that my story here is not over yet – we want more!
“I was really impressed by the club’s efforts to keep me, so a big thank you to those who trusted me and especially to [CEO] Oliver Mintzlaff, with whom I have always been in close contact.

Nkunku’s form has been exceptional for the German team
“RB Leipzig have made a name for themselves on the international stage in recent years and have shown time and time again that we can compete for titles.
“We want to build on that going forward and going even further.”
