Man City vs Chelsea: what was said?

Tuchel was asked what his team should do to catch Guardiola’s City.

He said: “With every player we recover, we recover belief, experience and alternatives. We have N’Golo on the bench in the last game, Thiago Silva on the bench, but they joined the group with a single workout.

“We have a good team with a fantastic mentality and once you have a practice session you are on the team. But we are not 100%.

“We have to outperform to catch up with Man City and be at the top of the Premier League and to do that you need everyone. We therefore hope to recover players.

“But when you hear that Andreas has Covid after he came back from injury and played so hard, it’s a setback for everyone mentally because you get a player back and then it’s no. It’s like catching a fish.
