Viktor Gyokerres has provided an update on his future, with Man United and Arsenal considered the advantages of winning the signing of Lisbon Sporting striker this summer.
Gyokerres has become one of the hottest talents in Europe after a superb return of 47 goals in 46 appearances all competitions so far in 2024-25.
The 26 -year -old is currently under contract for Sporting until 2028, his release clause set at 85 million pounds Sterling. Several reports this season revealed that he wanted to play in the Premier League.
He was again there during Sporting’s 3-1 victory against Moreirense on Friday evening, marked his fifth tripled in all competitions this season – and took his total goals in the league up to 34.
And after having extended the advance of his team to the top of the table on Benfica, Gyokerres remained tight when asked rumors indicating that he would be allowed to leave sport this summer.
The Swedish singer said: “No one can predict what will happen, we appreciate the moment.”
Viktor Gyokerres did not give much when he was asked about his sporting future in Lisbon

Man United would be interested in gathering Swedish with Ruben Amorim in Old Trafford

However, Gyokerres prefers Arsenal because he wants to play in the Champions League
Since Gyokerres has remained in sport on the January transfer window, Sporting would have a gentleman agreement in place with Gyokerers who opens the way to his big move this summer.
Portuguese giants are willing to authorize its sale at costs between 55 million pounds sterling and 70 million pounds sterling per gratitude for it to be held in winter, according to The Sun.
Asked about such an agreement on Friday, Gyokerres said: “I can’t say anything about it.”
Gyokerres was then asked by a journalist if he likes London, playing on recent links with Arsenal. The striker published another brief refutation, responding: “I like Lisbon”.
It has recently been reported that Gyokerres promotes a move to Arsenal on United this summer because he wants to continue playing in the Champions League.
While the Red Devils can always gain their place in the most prestigious club competition in Europe next season by winning the Europa League, Gyokerres seems little willing to bet on their tumultuous form.
Arsenal’s need for an attacker was too obvious this season, especially after the injuries to Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.
In addition to gyokerres, the Gunners were linked to Alexander Isak and Benjamin SESKO.
Meanwhile, Mail Sport revealed last week that United made Liam Delap from Ipswich Town his goal n ° 1.
