El Cerrito – A 41 -year -old man was arrested as part of a stab on Thursday morning in El Cerrito, according to the authorities.
The stab wounds were reported around 11:25 a.m. in Bloc 10300 on San Pablo avenue, the El Cerrito police service said in a press release. The police arrived to find a 55 -year -old man suffering from a stomach injury.
The man was taken to a hospital in the region, where he was listed in a stable state and expected to recover completely.
Later, the police found and arrested a suspect, identified as a man without housing. He was sentenced to the Martinez detention center for assault with an accusation of deadly weapon.
The investigation is underway, police said.
