Man shot dead in Lemon Grove

A man was fatally shot Saturday night in Lemon Grove, a sheriff’s official said.

The shooting was reported around 9:45 p.m. on Lemon Grove Boulevard, north of Palm Street, Lt. Scott Roller said. Deputies responded to the scene.

The victim of the gunshot was taken to hospital. Roller was unaware of the man’s condition.

No other information was immediately available.
