Man shot and killed in Oceanside, homicide detectives investigate
A man was fatally shot in Oceanside on Friday afternoon, and homicide detectives are investigating.
The department received multiple calls about gunshots in the Bush and San Diego streets area around 4:10 p.m., police said. Officers found the victim nearby.
He has not been identified pending notification of family members.
Investigators said the man was seen then the wall of a nearby business shortly before the shooting, police said.
It is unclear what led to the shootings and no suspect description was immediately available.
