Man Kicked Off Delta Flight For Wearing Obscene Donald Trump T-Shirt, Viral Meme Reference

A man was reportedly kicked off a Delta Airlines flight because he was wearing a T-shirt depicting former President Donald Trump giving the finger — and a reference to the viral “hawk tuah” girl video.

A post in the Reddit group r/delta posted a video of the man allegedly being thrown off the plane at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport on Saturday morning.

He wore a black T-shirt that showed Trump wearing American flag sunglasses and giving him two raised middle fingers. “Hawk tuah spit on this thing,” the T-shirt read, referring to the R-rated video posted online.

“I’m getting fired because of my shirt,” the man announces as he walks down the aisle with his luggage, as seen in the footage.

“And she’s the one who reports this: that idiot Wendy,” he adds after reading the badge of the flight attendant who accompanied him.

According to poster SKBeachGirl, the man was sitting waiting to board when an airline employee told him that someone had complained about the shirt and that he would have to change it or be banned from the plane.

He turned the shirt inside out and everyone got on board.

“The next thing I know, just before takeoff, a Delta employee boarded the plane and escorted him off the flight, he had his shirt turned around to the sticker side,” they wrote.

The airline may remove passengers from its flights to transport passengers when deemed necessary “in Delta’s sole discretion for the comfort or safety of the passenger, for the comfort or safety of other passengers or Delta employees, or for the prevention of damage to the property of Delta or its passengers or employees,” according to Delta’s contract of carriage.

A traveler may be deported when his or her “conduct, dress, hygiene or odor creates an unreasonable risk of offense or annoyance to other passengers,” among other behaviors and conditions.

The Post has reached out to Delta for comment on the incident.

Earlier this year, another Delta passenger said she was nearly kicked off a flight after trying to board her plane without wearing a bra.

Lisa Archbold, 38, said she boarded a flight from Salt Lake City to San Francisco in January wearing baggy jeans and a loose white T-shirt, without a bra. The DJ said a flight attendant temporarily escorted her off the plane and asked her to cover up, even though her breasts were not visible.

Archbold claimed the agent said her outfit was “revealing” and “offensive” and violated airline policy.
