Man found dead behind Framingham business in apparent homicide, DA says


A man was found dead behind the building where he worked Saturday evening, the prosecutor’s office said.

Police are investigating after a man was found dead in the trash area behind a business where he worked Saturday night in what authorities called an apparent homicide.

Framingham police responded to a business on Worcester Road around 10 p.m. Saturday, Middlesex District Attorney Marian T. Ryan’s office said in a statement. There, they discovered a 30-year-old man dead in the trash can behind the building.

The man, a Framingham resident, was an employee of the company and was working Saturday evening, according to the preliminary investigation.

“The victim had obvious bodily trauma and the case was referred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death,” Ryan’s office said.

The death, which the office called an apparent homicide, is being investigated by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, state police and Framingham police.
