Man flees social media, gets called out on ESPN after saying he’d eat dog poop if Florida State lost

Florida State lost and this User X is on the run with no appetite for social media or his promised dinner.

The manhunt began when X user @321nole vowed to do the unthinkable — eat dog poop — if Florida State lost to 17-point favorite Boston College on Monday.

“If Florida State loses to BC this weekend, I will eat ‘dog poop’ out of a red cup with a spoon and post a video of me doing it. Book it!” the Aug. 27 post read, according to Barstool Sports.

Florida State was crushed by Boston College, 28-13, to start the season 0-2, with former Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei continuing to disappoint.

In a screenshot of direct messages on X, the account holder bid farewell to the social media platform.

“See you next season, my time on X is over for now! Good luck everyone,” @321nole reportedly said in a DM to Barstool’s Jack McGuire.

User @321nole is nowhere to be found on social media after the team looked uncompetitive in a game they expected to win away on Monday night.

Florida State is the fifth school to open the season ranked in the AP top 10 and lose its first two games of the season, after dropping its opener to Georgia Tech in Ireland.

Even ESPN is looking for the user.

“They’re not as depressed as that guy on the Internet who said he’d eat dog poop out of a Solo cup,” ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt said on “SportsCenter” after the game.

“You think you can just delete your account, the internet’s not going to forget about it, you can’t just keep doing it and get a new name or something. People are going to find you.”

That’s surely the case and McGuire commented that “the dog shit eater is on the loose like you wouldn’t believe,” saying he also deleted his Facebook and Instagram accounts.

However, he said he would not go any further to see this anonymous person take responsibility for his comments.

“The man recently got engaged. Imagine explaining to your future wife why you had to go Zero Dark Thirty on social media,” McGuire said. “I have his fiancée’s Instagram account. I think I could draw the line at civilian involvement, but I’d be lying if I didn’t think of it!!!”
