Major update on the attempt of NFL teams to ban the “tash push”

The “tash push” could be sure … for the moment.

As reported by Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports, the prohibition of Green Bay Packers of the controversial rugby style quarterrier is unlikely to be approved during the current league meetings in Palm Beach, Florida.

But that does not mean that the problem is outside the table. Schultz understands rather that there is a “better chance” that negotiations will be deposited for a future meeting of the owners.

Part of the question is the wording of the proposed ban.

“The current language of the proposition is simply not clear enough and can easily be manipulated,” said a source in Schultz.

The future of Tash’s push should be decided Tuesday following debates on the security of a play that helped the Eagles to Philadelphia to win a Super Bowl and reach another. To obtain approval, the proposed ban would need 24 team votes.

Head coach Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts # 1 of the Philadelphia Eagles celebrate with the Vince Lombardi trophy after defeating the Kansas City 40-22 chiefs to win the Super Bowl Lix

The Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is on the file indicating that he expects support on the question of a number of his former assistants currently working in the League.

“We will see how it goes,” Sirianni told journalists, quoted by Mike Garafolo from NFL Network. “All I am going to say is (the Cardinals coach of Arizona, Jonathan) Gannon, (the head coach of the Indianapolis colts, Shane), Steichen and (the head coach of the Saints of New Orleans, Kellen), Moore, better voted for that. They are currently in the position (head coach) because of this game.

“So the three, I better have these three votes right there and the votes of the Eagles,” he added. “I at least know that there are four of us.

“It’s two things,” he continued. “It is an additional force, the number one, then the posture of the players.”

The Bills have regularly taken a form of play, conceded McDermott, before saying that the team will act thinking of the “health and safety” of the players.

Everyone outside the Sirianni coach tree did not expect a ban. Tampa Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles said last month that he hoped to avoid him.

“It’s an element of rugby, but at the same time, when a team gets something in which they are good, you have to learn to stop,” said Bowles.

“I don’t think the first thing you can do is try to remove it from the ball game because it removes the creativity of all those who try to do everything else. So you have to learn to stop it. Until we learn to stop it, they will continue. It is not broken, do not repair it.
