Major U.S. stock indexes trade higher, led by S&P
Major U.S. stock indexes are trading higher, led by the S&P index. The NASDAQ index is trading almost unchanged on the day. Yesterday, all three major indexes closed slightly higher/lower to start the trading week.

- S&P index up 17.47 points or 0.34% to 5,219.85
- NASDAQ index up 5.43 points or 0.03% to 16253.96.
The small-cap Russell 2000 is up 9.67 points or 0.47% at 2,083.38.
US yields are trading lower today ahead of the 3-year bond auction at 1 p.m. ET. The US Treasury will auction 10-year and 30-year bonds on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
