A new poll taken after Biden dropped out of the race finds Trump and Harris tied in the crucial state of Michigan, despite the former president’s previous lead of nearly double digits.

National polls have sent mixed signals, with some showing a tie and others a slight lead for one candidate or the other.

The New York Times/Siena College released a new poll this week that found Trump leading Harris by just one percentage point among likely voters, 48 percent to 47 percent. Among registered voters, Trump leads Harris by two percentage points.
